AN award-winning songwriter is going global with an app that helps students learn through rap.
George Hammond-Hagan came up with Study-tracks when his son Paris was revising for GCSEs. It has been downloaded more than 175,000 times, has hit the US and will be in France and Spain.

It has 900 tracks on topics such as English, maths, sciences and history. Experts advise on content. English literature has a rap about Romeo and Juliet and history one for the Treaty of Versailles. Hammond-Hagan, 45, of Beckenham won an Ivor Novello award for Liberty X hit Just A Little and has worked with Des’ree and Lisa Stansfield. He said: “I’d ace any GCSE. Ask me anything.” The free app has 10 tracks per subject. A premium service with more costs £3.99 a month.
